Unobtrusive, quiet and ready for years to come!

- TvD, 23 September, 2023

Wheels are unremarkable, seem pretty stiff and roll well. Doesn't catch much side wind, which is an advantage of this rim height. The ratchet is almost completely absent, which is an unexpected plus. Should you like more noise, you can/should replace the ratchet system. Delivery is good with 'normal' rim tape (kind of elastic) and a plastic strip for if you want tubeless. Bought them because of easy-to-maintain hub (DT Swiss 350) and good warranty from Bontrager. Also, in terms of width (21/28mm), this set is future-proof. I have 26mm tyres on them, which fit fine. Only disadvantage: the price. Can never be calculated for a fanatical amateur. But the eye wants something too! By the way, wheels are made by DT Swiss (was on the 'purchase sticker' from Bontrager). For the gram hunters: - Front: 677 gr (without rim tape) - Rear: 820 gr (without rim tape) - Rim tape: 46 gr (v+a) - Tubeless strip: approx. 120 gr (v+a, difficult to weigh) - Tubeless valves: 11 gr (v+a) Total clincher without tyres: 1,543 gr Total tubeless without tyres and sealant: approx. 1,628 gr

They do what I expected them to do. Aerodynamic and good light climbing wheels.
