Pros & Cons

A handy attachment that allows the use of a Torque wrench. If you find that unimportant, there are cheaper options. The fit is a bit loose which means it can easily come off and damage the frame. Use a long lever for loosening, pressing the cap firmly against the bottom bracket while doing so. Then you'll be fine.

Ideal for dismantling and assembling lock rings. I use i.c.w. a 1/2" torque spanner. Works very well and reliably.

Sturdy material, fits perfectly on bike parts. Tightening on torque is now perfectly possible.

Fits a bit wide around the lockring lots of play but could also be due to shimano ring , works well though
