Reviews over the
Assos Mille GTS S11 ST

Great product
Been using Assos bibs for years and this one meets all expectations again. Lovely material, fits well according to size chart, chamois is top even after 3+ hours.

The thicker chamois is the problem
My equipe rs S9 snapped after four years. So a new pair of trousers. In the shop, I hesitated between the rs S11 and the Mille gts s11. The latter became it because it sat best in the shop on the test bike with underwear. Main differences with the rs are the thicker chamois and the grip on the legs. The chamois proved to be the problem in practice. In practice, it is uncomfortable, shifts and because of its thickness chafes and irritations. Something I never had with the previous trousers. Longer rides, between 80 and 100 kilometres, were not comfortable. Hesitating about buying the rs this spring after all and discarding the Mille. But I'll give it some more time.

A lot of money for not very special cycling shorts
Chose these very pricey trousers from past experience with Assos. Sits ok, but not very comfortable

Top trousers
After the €145 Assos Mille, this is a huge improvement. The cheaper one didn't sit nice because of the thicker chamois at the front, I could feel it constantly chafing where you don't want it to. In the more expensive version, this is much better finished.
