The paint is off Ortlieb
I am actually a fan of Ortlieb products. But I am not at all satisfied with this product. The installation was easy, but you have to be aware when you tighten the clamps that they sit on the paintwork, so you scratch the paintwork of the bike during assembly. It may be suitable for an old donkey but not for a good bike. I can't recommend it, whoever came up with this product should be sacked. It's nice that a shrink sleeve is included for the metal band, but what protects my frame from the clamp that I have to tighten with the pliers?

Tricky to apply, but it sits very firmly in place
The adapter is handy, for when you don't have M5/M6 points on your bike. After assembling it, which does take some work, it sits firmly on and the rack can be mounted immediately. Unfortunately, the kit can only be used on 1 bike.
