Mantel Sport Saddle Bag

The Mantel Sport compact saddle bag stays firmly in place under the saddle and does not rattle thanks to secure mounting with a wide Velcro strap. The bag folds open all the way so you can easily reach and grab the tools you need. Thanks to the water-resistant zip and splash-proof nylon, your spare parts stay dry on wet rides.

Water-resistant fabric
Cyclists tell us every day that they get fed up with their inner tubes being wet in their saddle bags after a ride in the rain. And so we have developed our own Mantel bag made of sturdy woven nylon. This robust material is water-repellent and provides good protection against water splashing up from the rear tyre. Thanks to its minimalist design, the Mantel Sport saddle bag doesn’t get in the way and your legs will not rub against it. We have also fitted a water-resistant zip for added water protection, so you can be sure your spare parts stay dry.

Compact size and extras
If you are stuck by the roadside with a flat tyre in the rain, you will want quick access to your kit. We have designed a saddle bag with a compact size for you - it can hold the essentials for quick repairs: an inner tube, two tyre levers, two CO₂ cartridges and a CO₂ pump (contents not included). To increase your safety in dark conditions, the bag has reflective elements as well as a loop on the back to which you can easily attach a bike light, making you even more visible in traffic!

Mounting
As we know all too well that nothing is more annoying than fiddling with a tricky installation system with cold fingers, we make sure you can easily attach this bag under your saddle with a wide, sturdy Velcro strap. It slides smoothly through the saddle rails and can be tightened in a single movement. The size fits all standard road bikes, gravel bikes and mountain bikes. The bag can also be removed within seconds, which you will appreciate when preparing to give your bike a thorough wash after an intense ride!

To mount the Mantel Sport saddle bag, follow these steps:
1) Pull the Velcro strap over the saddle rails.
2) Fold the strap along the bottom of the saddle bag.
3) Pass the strap through the buckle, then stick it firmly against the Velcro.
4) To prevent scratches on the bike frame, check that the saddle bag is securely attached and has no play. If in doubt, it may be wise to apply a protective material to the frame.
