It is a safety system specifically designed to provide helmets with additional protection. In the event of certain types of impact, MIPS can reduce harmful rotational forces transmitted to the brain, by allowing the helmet to slide in relation to the head. This significantly reduces the risk of potential brain damage or concussion.
Advanced Turnfit system and magnetic buckle closure
With the Advanced Turnfit system you can easily adjust the fit of the Lazer Jackal MIPS. You do this by using the dial on the back of the helmet. The Advanced Turnfit system prevents any pressure points, because the fit is adjusted around the entire circumference of your head. The chin strap of this bike helmet features a lightweight magnetic buckle. You can fasten it quickly and it is easy to use with gloves on.
Enough room for goggles
The Lazer Jackal MIPS offers enough space for a pair of goggles. What's more, these goggles remain properly and securely in place, as the back of the helmet features a piece of gripper with a rough surface. This keeps the strap of your goggle firmly in place.

If your head measurement is on the edge of the M size range then better order the L size. I had the wrong size but that was resolved super fast by Mantel. Fast delivery by Mantel, I will definitely order there again.
