With the Giro Caden II LED MIPS cycling helmet, you get yourself a stylish helmet that features a host of advanced technologies. The combination of the light yet sturdy In-Mold helmet shell and the MIPS technology ensures optimal protection when it is needed. The fit of the helmet can be adjusted and customised through the Roc Loc® City system, so you can always create the perfect fit. All in all, this is a helmet that guarantees a safe cycling experience!
The MIPS system consists of a low-friction layer between the EPS lining and the padding with an elastic fixation. This allows the helmet to move slightly (slide and rotate) during a crash. It will move around your head to absorb any lateral and rotational forces caused by the crash. A helmet without MIPS does not do this; it only absorbs the impact through compression of the EPS lining.
Other safety features in this helmet are the reflective accents, the lock port for attaching the helmet to your bike or bag, and the TPU visor in the style of a cycling cap. Finally, the helmet comes with a removable rear light, so no one will overlook you in traffic!
