This padding rests on a shell of Nylon composite and a titanium rail. This keeps the weight low, and provides the saddle with adequate stiffness.
Saddle shape
This saddle has a rounded-off rear part, making it highly suitable for riders who move around while they ride and whose hips rock from side to side. The round shape provides more freedom of movement for those riders than a flat saddle could.
Flexibility
This is a semi-flat saddle, meaning that the saddle is flat at the front, and raised a little at the back. The shape makes it particularly suitable for riders with a moderate degree of flexibility in their spine. This has to do with how easily these riders can rotate their pelvis: they might need a little extra support when riding upright, but can manage on their own when riding on the drops.
Cut-out
This saddle has a cut-out and alleviates pressure for those who often experience discomfort or pressure to their soft tissue areas.

Perfect!
Replaced the standard saddle on my Giant fastroad, which in itself is certainly not bad, with the Ergon SR comp in the right size, L in my case, depending on seat bone distance. A world of difference! Can spend hours of wonderful cycling. For me the best saddle purchase ever. On my commuting trekking bike I immediately mounted an Ergon SM (mountain bike) saddle. Same experience, perfect! In the vast ocean of saddles, I found the right one for me!

Was looking for a saddle that would hold up for a long time, but not feel too soft. This one is just right; firm, not hard. Figured it out with the help of ergon site. For me seat bone size, a 'small' was perfect. The weight is relatively high, but it has another (more expensive but) lighter brother. This one was to try, and is now on my smart trainer bike. Finer than the original saddle from selle italia , fizik from my winter bike or a loaner saddle from specialised (which was already old).

Description
The Ergon SR Comp saddle was designed specifically for the male body. Men often have a sensitive perineum, which is especially noticeable during long rides. In addition to the cutout, Ergon designed special padding that further reduces pressure on the perineum. This padding is the result of years of scientific research. The bottom layer consists of Orthopedic Comfort Foam that adapts to the shape of the body.
