The Castelli Prefetto W LS offers you full protection while remaining fully breathable. The garment uses the Gore Windstopper X-Lite fabric. This is a lightweight and elastic stretchable windstopper fabric with a water repellent finish. The arms feature Nanoflex technology, meaning water simply rolls off the fabric in beads without leaving a trace. The YKK Vislon zipper is covered with a wind strip, preventing the wind from cutting through to you that way. The rear has 3 storage pockets and a storm flap on the bottom to protect from wheelspray. Finished with reflective elements so you're better visible on dark days.

This is a quality piece of cycling clothing that is so comfortable to wear. I went out on a cold winter's day, with just a wool long sleeved base layer underneath and felt so warm. It was great at protecting me from the wind. I was a bit unsure about spending the extra money but am so glad I did.
