The Campagnolo Ekar crankset with single ring is a crucial element in this new gravel groupset. The carbon crankset is lightweight, simple and very reliable. Because there is no front derailleur, there are no superfluous parts that can't cope with dirt when riding off-road. 1x is the way to go!
The crankset is made from a steel/aluminium axle with a polyamide carbon spider and UD carbon crank arms. The available crank lengths are: 165mm, 170mm, 172.5mm and 175mm which can be fitted with a 38, 40, 42 or 44t chainring. The crank bearings and bottom bracket have also been updated. They use the ProTech technology with an additional sealing that keeps moisture and dirt out.
