The Bontrager Paradigm Comp TLR Disc road bike wheels for disc brakes are very stiff and comfortable bike wheels that will allow you to conquer all kinds of surfaces. The Paradigm Comp TLR Disc wheels allow you to mount a wide range of tyres thanks to the internal rim width of 21mm.
This means these rims are great for tyres from 28mm - 50mm. The offset rim combined with the Stacked Lacing spoke pattern means you have less of an asymmetric rim. This improves the balance, riding experience and comfort of these rims.
Suitable for cyclists and gravel riders!
The internal rim width of 21 millimetres means that as a tubeless-ready rim, the Paradigm Comp TLR Disc is also good to use in a gravel bike. With a tubeless setup, it is possible to get the maximum comfort out of these wheels. This is because it allows you to ride at a lower tyre pressure. This will lower your rolling resistance on somewhat worse roads.
At first glance, you will notice that the spoke pattern of this rim is special. The straight pull spokes are placed at an ideal angle for optimum performance, giving you not only a super stiff but also highly responsive rim. This ultimately improves your riding feel with these rims!
Offset rim
The rim of the Bontrager Paradigm Comp TLR Disc wheels is not placed entirely in the centre of the hub, ensuring that spoke tension is equal on both sides of the wheel. This reduces the chance of spokes slackening or breaking on the side where there is less spoke tension, and ensures that the wheels stay tensioned for longer!
