Bell Traverse MIPS 2016 MTB Helmet

Cycling for a better condition, an adventurous tour through unknown area or just a ride through the neighborhood. With this Bell Traverse you can do it all! The ErgoDial retention system makes it possible to finetune this helmet with one hand. The 22 ventilation holes keep your head cool. The high-grade in-mold polycarbonate shell construction meets the strict CE EN1078 norm. As an extra safety they have integrated a Mips system in this helmet.

Technologies:

MIPS System:
The MIPS System exists out of a low friction interlayer between the EPS lining and padding with an elastic fixation. This allows the helmet to move (slide or rotate) during a crash. It will move around your head to catch the side and rotational forces that could occur during a crash. This in contrast to a helmet without MIPS, whereby the impact is only collected by compressing the EPS lining.

In-Mold Polycarbonate Microshell:
In-molding is the process wherein the Microshell outer shell of the helmet is merged with the EPS foam layer to provide a stronger, firmer helmet. The EPS foam is injected into the thin Micro Shell shell when it is in the mold, instead of both parts are formed separately and later glued together.

ErgoDial Fit System
The ErgoDial Fit System brings one-handed adjustments to our Universal Fit helmets. A simple press of the button and slide of the dial brings firm, snug and comfy stability.

Blade Visor
Removable visor which protects your eyes from the sun, rain and dirt.
