AGU Original Rain Suit

The AGU Original rainsuit is back for both men and women. The first version dates back to 1977 and has defined the street scene ever since. This new version has retained the looks of the old version, but has all of today's functionalities. It is not for nothing that this rainsuit is test winner in the ANWB Regenpakentest 2018.

Breathable and waterproof Poray 5000 fabric.
This rainsuit has a matt look and is made from waterproof, lightweight and noise-reducing material. The Poray 5000 coating makes it resistant to water and also provides high breathability. In addition, all seams on this jacket are taped and rainproofing is ensured by the double front zips.

Fitted with adjustable elements, resulting in an optimal fit
The fit of the hood is easily adjustable, so that it can be adapted to your needs. The sleeve ends of the mackintosh are hermetically sealed around the wrist against water and wind. This is made possible by the elastic finishing and the extended front of the sleeve. The trouser legs also have an extended front. This allows the trousers to fall well over the shoes and to be adjusted around the ankle using the press studs. Both sleeves and pant legs are ergonomically pre-shaped, ensuring an optimal fit.

Reflective details
There is no lack of extra safety, as the sleeves have reflective stripes. The AGU Original rainsuit not only protects against water, but you are also more visible in dark conditions.

Waterproofing rating
The level of waterproofing is determined by a water column test. In such a test, fabric is pulled taut across a sealed tube with a 2.5 cm diameter, which is filled with water. Over the next 24 hours, the fabric is observed to see how much water pressure it can withstand in mm before becoming soaked. At the moment when water begins leaking through the fabric, the hydrostatic water pressure is measured in millimetres. The AGU Original has a waterproofing rating of 5000 mm.
