The Essential II is equipped with the Green 95 chamois, AGU's entry level seat pad, which is perfect for novice and frequent cyclists. The Green 95 is made from quick-drying, comfortable foam that is 10 mm thick for good cushioning on rougher roads. The Green 95 seat pad makes AGU's Essential II suitable for bike rides that last no more than two hours.

Ordering and returning trousers that were too small was easy and completed quickly.
Cycled with the trousers several times now. Favours them well. Sits comfortably.

Great pants, comfortable chamois, well worth the money!
At Mantel tried on many sizes of pants from 4 different brands. I haven't ridden for a while and am a bit "bigger". I noticed that the Italian brands do fall very small and the chamois feel a bit slacker than the AGU. Of course, that doesn't say everything since I haven't ridden with them. Agu Essential II size XL fit well. Material on the outside is smooth and on the inside it feels luxurious and is easy and quick to put on. And the chamois felt good and thankfully proved very comfortable while cycling. Much better than my other two cycling pants of 12 years old.... Of which I have to say that one had a reasonable chamois (but less than the AGU) and the other a thin one (soon painful) which nevertheless haven't deteriorated much in terms of cushioning over the past 12 years. Now if only I had bought good cycling shorts earlier.... So I am very satisfied with my new Agu Essential II. With these pants I can enjoy cycling again!
