Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- Choose between 9 and 15 litres: 9 litres for a day trip or a light overnight stay, 15 litres if you are taking more camping gear with you.
- The drybag is waterproof, with welded seams and a valve that allows you to let the air out and compress the contents most efficiently.
- The compression strap allows you to make the bag narrower so that it fits between narrower handlebars.
- Since there is one harness for both drybags, you can easily switch between the 9 and the 15 litre drybags, depending on your trip.
- Weighing 600 grams (9 litres) and 640 grams (15 litres), this is not an ultra-light handlebar bag.
- With a diameter of 16 cm, the bag requires quite a bit of space between your handlebars and front tyre.

The ACID Handlebar Bag Pack Pro is designed for bikepacking, from an overnight stay in the great outdoors to a trip lasting several weeks. It consists of two parts: a harness that attaches to your handlebars, and a waterproof drybag that you slide inside and secure with two quick-release fasteners.
The drybag has welded seams to keep your gear dry, and a valve to compress that gear most efficiently. The horizontal compression strap allows you to make the bag narrower and keeps it firmly in place on both paved and unpaved roads.
You can choose between two volumes; the harness is the same for both and fits both drybags. So if you have one version, you can also use the drybag from the other version in the same harness.

Two-part system
While the harness stays on your handlebars, the drybag can be removed separately. This system is very practical at campsites: You can take your gear into your tent without having to remove the whole bag from your bike.
Compression valve
Squeeze the drybag and let the air escape through the valve. Your gear will then take up less space and the bag will sit more snugly in the harness.
MOLLE system
The MOLLE loops on the harness allow you to attach extra pouches or items to the bag, such as a phone pouch or a rolled-up jacket.
Compatible with:
- Handlebars with sufficient space between the brake levers: at least 28 cm for the Pack Pro 9 and at least 35 cm for the Pack Pro 15, with the compression strap fully tightened.
- Bikes with at least 16 cm of space between the underside of the handlebars and the front tyre or mudguard.
- Both drybags – the harness is the same for the 9- and 15-litre models.
Not compatible with:
- Bikes with less than 16 cm of space between the handlebars and the front tyre. If you have a suspension fork, also take into account the space the fork needs to compress.
- Handlebars with less space between the brake levers than 28 cm (Pack Pro 9) or 35 cm (Pack Pro 15).
Not sure? Here’s how to check:
First, measure the space between your brake levers or handlebar grips, at the height where the bag will sit. If this is less than 35 cm, choose the Pack Pro 9. Next, measure the distance between the underside of your handlebars and the top of your front tyre or mudguard. If this is less than 16 cm, the bag will rub against your tyre.
Included as standard:
- Harness with MOLLE loops
- Waterproof dry bag with a valve and with a 9 or 15 litre volume
Not included, but useful:
- A front bike light – there is a mounting point on the bag
Attach the harness to your handlebars and slide the drybag inside. Then secure the drybag with the two quick-release fasteners and tighten the compression strap.
After fitting, check that your brake and gear cables can still move freely, and that you can still turn your handlebars all the way to the left and right without the bag hitting anything.
- Place heavy items in the centre of the drybag and light items at the ends to ensure your bike handles most smoothly.
- Only let the air escape through the valve once the drybag is closed. This will compress your belongings as tightly as possible.
- Use the elastic drawcords on the drybag for a jacket that you want to be able to put on quickly.
