Clumsy product from ABUS
Despite having read Andreas's review of 19 March 2024, I still ordered the WBA75, because I thought ABUS couldn't be so stupid as to supply too small balls for the bolt heads. Andreas turned out to be right, however, because despite the fact that I rammed the balls (5/16 inch) into the 6-sided holes of the bolt heads of the M10 BZK bolts with a sledgehammer and a sledgehammer, the balls can be removed from the bolt heads again with a small magnet. Would like to return the product, were it not for the fact that I would then be stuck with 2 16 mm holes in the concrete floor of my shed. Please supply balls of the correct size, I think 11/32 inch.
Pros & Cons
1 / 5
Unusable
It is therefore not possible to secure the screws
4 / 5
An excellent way of securing your bike with ease of installation.
This product is insurance-compliant in Belgium. It allows us to secure our bicycles and children's trailers in an underground garage shared with our home. Now we know that our daily means of transport are safe and secure.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Fine anchor
I don't think you can get this ring off the facade anymore, but can't say for sure of course. Model is inconspicuous enough to attach to the façade. Installing it requires a good drill and a very thick 16 mm drill bit. If you have this, it's a piece of cake. I only had a bit of trouble getting the ball into the bolt so you can't unscrew it. The bolt is somewhat recessed so you can't hit it properly with a hammer. In the end, with the help of a metal pin, it worked.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Efficient and insurance-approved.
