Abus developed Forced Air Cooling Technology. This is an interconnected ventilation system with 11 entry vents and 13 exit vents. This creates the ideal temperature around the head, even in hot weather.
In addition, this helmet was designed to be as aerodynamic as possible. This is shown not only by the design of the helmet's shell, but also the straps around the head are as taut as possible to prevent fluttering. In addition, the Abus AirBreaker has a durable In-Mold connection between the outer shell with a shock-absorbing foam lining. This further decreases impact to the head.
The Abus AirBreaker is a great helmet for road bikers that value high performance and have high demands. The helmet excels in aerodynamics, comfort, ventilation and safety. It’s for good reason that Valverde became world champion with this helmet!

A minimalist package that's easy on the head!
Very fast service from Mantel, received in 24h00 :) Great service! The helmet: Satisfied, light and pleasant to wear, you don't feel it, nice design, matches your outfit given the wide choice of colours available! Negative: Is ABUS cheap? For a helmet costing over €200 the packaging is minimalist, no storage bag, no replacement foam pad, the very thin pad provided in the helmet is just put on, you have to stick it on and the double-sided Velcro is not provided ... The straps are a bit thin and of poor quality, which makes them look a bit like supermarket products! For the price of a helmet at over 200€, the competition is better in terms of packaging, POD, Kask, Giro ... ABUS could improve this for less and it would give a much better impression!
