3x9 converted to 1x9. Nice job to do yourself. I didn't need the crank spanner. Just an in bushing and a shimano tone for the crank nut. Unfortunately, the old chainring bolts were just a bit too long for this single blade. This did cause some fiddling for a while. Looks a lot better now. Weight saving is not so bad. But it does save a lot of parts on your bike.
