Cold toes are often the first thing you notice on a chilly ride. The wind blows straight onto the front of your shoe, and that’s exactly where the ventilation holes are located on many cycling shoes. The 21Virages Toecover covers that front section. It’s windproof and water-repellent, keeping your toes warm and comfortable.
You can wear it on its own over your cycling shoe on days when a full overshoe is too much. If it gets colder, you can wear it together with an overshoe for an extra layer over your toes. It’s quick and easy to put on, so you can slip it on even just before setting off.
If you want to protect your entire shoe from the cold and rain, take a look at the 21Virages All Weather overshoes for 0 to 15 °C, or the 21Virages Neoprene overshoes for days around freezing point.
Windproof
The material is windproof, so the cold wind doesn’t blow in through the front of your shoe and reach your toes.
Water-repellent
Water and splashed-up dirt roll off the fabric. This keeps your toes dry for longer on wet roads or during a brief shower.
Fits
- Cycling shoes in sizes 42 to 47 (L/XL)
- Worn loose over your cycling shoes, or together with a pair of overshoes such as the 21Virages All Weather
Does not fit
- Shoe sizes smaller than 36 or larger than 47
- Long rides in the pouring rain: the toe cover is water-repellent, not waterproof. In that case, choose a fully waterproof overshoe
Not sure about your size? Here’s how to check
Check the size of your cycling shoes, not your everyday shoes. If you wear size 41 or smaller, choose S/M. If you wear size 42 or larger, choose L/XL.
