If in doubt, just go for it. You won’t regret it.
I’m really pleased with the Continental GP 5000 S TR: they ride smoothly, feel fast and inspire a lot of confidence. You really notice the difference between the standard GP 5000 and this tyre when the road surface gets a bit rougher; this tyre is much more comfortable and less twitchy at higher speeds. Fitting the tyre onto the rim can take a bit of effort, but it’s well worth it.

They’re the best tyres.
I’ve fitted these tyres to my Giant Defy Advanced Pro 1 – what a difference. The bike has really come into its own now, just as it was meant to; I’m really happy with this purchase.

Top band
A brilliant tyre; I rode over 7,500 km on the previous standard set (inner tube) without a puncture
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fast nice looking tyres
I’ve got this tyre set since the beginning of the season, and so far super happy with it. Done many KMs on them and I was impressed by how much speed I gained since I switched to them, using same bike and wheels.
Pros & Cons

Impeccable
I have complete confidence in this tyre; it has never put me in danger or caught me out. It is simply exceptional.

Just good tyres
At first, I ordered the wrong size (32mm) all on my own – they wouldn’t fit my rims. After some good advice and quick help from Mantel, I sent them back and fitted the correct width (35mm). They were airtight straight away and very easy to fit onto the rim (hookless).

A great tyre at a good price
When I first used this tyre, I really felt as though I was going faster.

a bit more expensive than the standard version, but also better

Pros & Cons

In my opinion, they’re still the best all-round performance tyres
These tyres inspire a lot of confidence, especially on dry roads, but they are also reliable in wet conditions. With previous performance brands, I used to get punctures much more often that wouldn’t seal themselves with sealant.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Leak too soon
I had it for less than two weeks before it was irreparably punctured and I could throw it away. Very unfortunate, especially for a tyre described with a "focus on ... puncture protection".
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fast nice quality!
My favourite outdoor road bike tyre.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top tyres
Just a top tyre. It rolls quickly and has good grip. The previous set of Conti GP 5000 lasted 5700km.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Great tyres
The tyres roll easily and have good grip even when it rains. Reduced vibrations on bad tarmac and better comfort.
5 / 5
Top of the top
The best tyres on the market for me! Easy to mount.
1 / 5
Good to fit. Leaks too often, therefore lasts too short
Tyres I got mounted on the rim just fine. Fine experience at first. Now after few 100km continuously new holes in the tyre. Low puncture resistance and short lifespan
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
A fast tyre, yet reliable.
Super nice tyre for the road bike. I have tried a number of other tyres in the past too, but still always end up with the Conti grand prix tyres.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top band
Like the clincher, just a lovely quality tyre.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fine band my go to
I ride them tubeless with some lower pressure Fantastically comfortable and still fast. Few problems with punctures. In need of replacement after 6 to 7 thousand km. Better experience with them than other racing tyres.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
great band at an affordable price
the quality you would expect from this brand and price
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
The must have tires
The tires are excellent in safety against punctures, and good tubeless tires
Pros & Cons
2 / 5
Fast, but unsuitable outside summer.
Nice and fast tyre, but absolutely unsuitable for non-summer conditions. Punctured twice and that within less than 200 kilometres of riding. This tyre never again.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good tyres!
Great tyres! Comfortable to ride on, but as with many tubeless tyres, they are a little difficult to mount. You have to make sure to get the whole tyre edge down the middle of the tyre and it works!
3 / 5
Difficult to impose
Was quite a struggle to put tyre on. Feared 1st puncture. Next tyre will be a different one anyway
1 / 5
Poor puncture resistance, 2 punctures after ~60 km
Very poor puncture resistance. First tyre punctured after 40 km and tubeless did not seal while it was a very small hole which should be within tubeless performance. Ordered a new tyre, this one lasted 100 km and again the same problem. All in all, a tubeless tyre that does not seal the holes
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Resistance/Adherence/Road holding
I love these tyres - top value for money

Topbane
Top tyre with good grip and easy tubeless mounting
Pros & Cons

Very good choice
More expensive than other tyres, but placement is really easier than with other makes and models. The grip on the road is really good. Performance too.

Reliable tyres that no longer have to prove themselves
2 / 5
Not worth money.
With the 5000 I rode >10,000km and only punctured once with 2 tyres! But I hate punctures, so I spent an extra €10 per tyre anyway for the 5000STR which scores better on puncture resistance. A waste of money! In 2 weeks 2x punctures on a grain of sand! There is no sign of a puncture-resistant intermediate layer! Just rubber.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good all-round tyres
These tyres are easy to put around the rim. Using a foot pump (Joe Blow), they 'pop' in one go. Then insert the latex and you're done. Your bike is tubeless in 15 minutes! The tyres roll lightly and have plenty of traction. I can't say anything about puncture resistance after three rides.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Perfect for those who take cycling seriously
Incredibly good mileage and puncture protection compared to other premium tubeless tyres. Very comfortable and fast tyre.
3 / 5
Good tyre but not recommended with inner tube
For about 1200km, I was very satisfied; feels fast and comfortable! However, then the best seemed off and puncture resistance was completely gone. Five punctures at 220km (4x rear, 1x front, 4 TPU, 1 butyl). Found the hole and pebble each time, so not just badly checked. My conclusion must therefore be that this one is not 'tubeless ready', but 'tubeless mandatory'. The thinner construction than the standard GP5000 does not adequately protect inner tubes after some distance. Sealant would presumably have sealed the holes in the outer tyre.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
top quality
very good tyre
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
best tubeless tyre in terms of value for money
lasts +-5000km in my experience. very satisfied
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Smooth rolling tyre that does puncture quickly.
Now on my 9th tyre of this type. Rolls lightly and smoothly and has good traction, even in wet weather. On average, I can do 4205 km with one tyre, with peaks of 731 and 8877 km. All times a large puncture that was beyond repair but even on the 8877 km tyre the wear mark was still clearly visible so good durability.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Very quick leak and pricey
I feel the latest version of the gp 5000 is very prone to punctures
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fantastic band
Am on third set of tyres. Very satisfied. Can definitely do 6000km with them. Had 1 puncture. The latex Dynamic Barkeeper sealed the hole 2mm. Did 1000km more on them after that.
Pros & Cons

Perfect band
Drove 5,000 km in summer and winter with the previous tyre. Twice punctured by pieces of iron but a plug d'rin and on it went!

Riding with wider tyres is really great , I will never go narrower again !

Perfect band
Easy to fit for a tubeless tyre. Perfect combination of speed, handling and puncture resistance for me.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Superb fast tyre
Very happy with this model, quick and comfortable
5 / 5
Nice tyre, very competitive, punctured quite quickly because of this, just like the competition.
Started on Schwalbe Pro One's and after 2000km (summer) first puncture (tubeless setup). (Winter) New Pro One on, this one punctured after only 100km. Bad luck. Next I tried the Conti GP 5000, first impression is that it has a better finish than the Schwalbe (better symmetry, a nicer finish.) Rolling is also fine. This will be my default fast tyre. However, this one was also flat again within 50km, really bad luck. It was striking that the pebbles I found in the puncture were so small that I asked myself whether a competitive tyre is for me, as I don't have a follow car. From other experiences I gather that winter is also a killer for competitive tyres. That's why I have now chosen the Pirelli Cinturato Velo (tubeless), with the peace of mind that I will lose a little on rolling resistance, but this is hardly noticeable. Very happy with my choice, going for a long ride feels much nicer now.

Excellent product exactly as described
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Complete, excellent in everything
In two years only two punctures, doing ~5000km per year. They are perfect in every context and with excellent durability. I see no better alternatives in the same price range.

Great tyres, hard to pass the gp5000 when looking
Great tyres and look
5 / 5
Top quality you expect from Continental's top model
Speed and grip you feel on the road, tubeless sphere you with slightly lower pressure comfortably and still fast or over most bumps.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top band, both in competitions and with training
Icm with milk and the blue sausage ideal. Never having to change tyres on the road with training and being able to get home. In races, although with lower tyre pressure, you can still finish a race.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
highly recommended despite the price
Very few leaks with the "normal version, so "never chance a winning team"
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Very good and reliable tyre!
Very satisfied with these tyres after about 300 km in 3 weeks. They offer great grip and today I drove on quite wet roads, they can do just fine too!
Pros & Cons
1 / 5
Choose another tyre.
I had good experiences with this tyre 2 years ago with the width 28 mm. Now in a month and a half 2 tyres width 32 mm have been written off due to transverse cracks in tread and sidewall. I would not recommend them again.

top shop
I normally order online, but this is nice anyway, just feel compare. i was also helped very well with good advice.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fast, comfortable but difficult to assemble the first time
With these tyres, I feel an increase of 1kmph compared to the factory tyres that were on the bike. Also, handling is better and the ride is softer on my arms. Even through 5km of sharp gravel I didn't ride flat. Fitting is difficult but doable with 2 people and sopping water
Pros & Cons

Best out there

Super cool riding experience. I have ridden about 1000 km and have already found glass pieces in the tyre myself after bike rides, but no flat tyre! TOP :D

Nice tyres sitting tight on the zipp 303 rims. Fitting was easier than expected.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top band
Top tyre. Excellent quality as always from Continental.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Good performance, lousy puncture protection.
Having already ordered a tyre of this type elsewhere and found it to be good after a test ride, I ordered a second one here. Also because the manufacturer's website advertises the oh-so-great puncture protection. Unfortunately, after putting the first tyre on, I got two punctures on gritted cycle paths. Puncture protection is close to zero. I didn't even fit the second tyre. Certainly good for perfectly asphalted paths without grit, but not a tyre for the city in winter.
5 / 5
Excellent product
Excellent grip on dry roads.
