These Time Atac XC 12 pedals are the best concerning mud transport and ease of use. The XC 12 is the absolute top in the Time Atac line. ATAC stands for Auto Tension Adjustment Concept. This system ensures that there is a reasonable amount of freedom of movement in the pedal, without disengage. Ideal for cyclists with knee problems. The freedom of movement of your foot can be set to three positions. From a maximum of 5 degrees to less. This results in a play of approximately 6 mm. The disengagement angle is 13 or 17 degrees depending on how you attach the cleats.
The Atac XC12 has a carbon body with plastic elements. The pedal also uses a titanium axle to keep the weight super low. This durable material makes a set another 35 grams lighter.
