- Tension can be adjusted from very tight to very loose, so you can always ride with perfect tension on the pedals.
- Use the included cleat spacers to ensure your shoes have maximum grip on the pins.
- The tool you need to disassemble and service the pedals is included.
- The pedals are available in many different colours for a beautiful match with your bike.
- A pedal with extra support carries extra weight and makes pedal strike slightly more likely.

OneUp Components has designed these Clip pedals for rougher mountain biking but they are also light enough to be suitable for cross-country riding. The release tension has a wider range than Shimano pedals, which means that the minimum force required to click out is lower, and the maximum force is higher. This can be adjusted on the pedal. This way, you can always set the perfect tension for your riding style. Despite the extra support and the extra grip provided by the pins, the pedals weigh 410 grams, which is light enough for cross-country use. The extra support gives you more control and confidence on the trails.
Pedals and pins
The OneUp Clip pedal uses 4 pins per side, so 16 pins in total. As the pins are hollow, dirt does not get stuck in them, and the pins are easy to remove and replace using a 2.5 mm hex key. OneUp recommends using its own cleats, which are included, but the Shimano SH51 SPD cleats are also compatible. By using the cleat spacers, you can vary the distance from pedal to shoe, so you can always make sure the shoe has perfect grip on the pins. With the OneUp cleats, you have 5 degrees of float and an exit angle of 12 degrees.
Bearings
Each pedal has an Inboard igus® bushing and three sealed industrial bearings. Using the included bearing tool, you can disassemble, clean and grease the pedals to extend their lifespan and, thus, to be able to enjoy them for a very long time!
