The SwissStop Disc 34 series are very powerful brakes for Shimano disc brakes. These brakes offer great durability with different properties. While the Endurance compound is made to dissipate heat well and to be highly wear-resistant, the RS compound is focused more on predictable, well-modulated and quiet braking.
SwissStop Disc 34 RS
The RS compound is particularly made to produce as little noise as possible and to offer easy modulation in all weather conditions. The organic compound scores well in terms of durability, yet ensures minimal wear on your rotors.
SwissStop Disc 34 E
The E-compound is a dedicated Endurance compound. SwissStop has refined the composition of these brake pads to such an extent that they last very long, retain their braking efficiency at higher temperatures, and have easy modulation of braking force.

The grey semi-metallic brake pads are not suitable for all brake discs. These pads can only be used on ground brake discs, as the latter consist of a harder material. Pressed, soft brake discs can only be used with soft, organic brake pads. With harder brake pads they will wear out quickly.

I can only praise the braking characteristics BUT the bolts provided are very fragile and strip very easily. Had to remove both with a special removal tool for damaged socket head bolts!!!!

I bought the brake pads because I could no longer hear the squeaking in the rain from ultegra pads.through the swiss top brake pads it was a tad better but still present.
