Stages 105 5700 2nd generation power meter! This Stages 105 5700 powermeter has been improved amazingly compared to its predecessor. This crank arm measures the power as accurately as the 1st generation (± 2% deviation) but is smaller in size. In addition, thanks to a better fitting battery cover it's even more water resistant. The Stages 105 5700 crankarm can be mounted on Shimano cranksets such as the Shimano 5800/, Ultegra 6700/6800 or Dura-Ace 7900/9000.
The Stages power meter measures power with great accuracy (± 2% deviation) into the left crank arm. Because the unit is pre mounted on the crank arm, it is very light and small. The crank arm is just 20g heavier compared to a standard crank. The Stages unit is the lightest power meter which is 33-185 grams lighter, compared to competing power meters and all of this for a very attractive price.
The data is transferred via ANT + and Bluetooth Smart technology, allowing almost any bike computer to be paired. The firmware updates can easily be done wireless from your phone. The cadence is measured wireless and without required additional sensors, through the internal accelerometer.
Note: Make sure the power meter is compatible with your direct mount rear brake under your bottom bracket.
