Quick lacing combined with Velcro
The Shimano MT502 is equipped with a safe quick lacing system. In addition, there is a Velcro closure on the top of the instep. Both are quick and easy to use, allowing you to get an optimal fit quickly.
Lightweight mesh upper
The upper of the Shimano MT502 features lightweight material, creating a sporty look. In addition, mesh panels are placed on the upper of these trekking shoes. This ensures good breathability and reduces the risk of overheated feet.
Strengthened nylon midsole

You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Beautiful SPD shoe with simple lacing in usual Shimano quality

I used to have the MT34 from Shimano, which is getting on in years. The MT502 has a slightly narrower cut and therefore doesn't look so "clunky". The shoe sits firmly on the foot. With the lacing and the velcro fastener, the hold can be well dosed.

Am very satisfied, ordered shoe size 43 and 43 fits. I used the size chart. The strap is thinner than on my previous MT5 shoe.
