The Shimano 105 FC-R7000 Crankset is the new crankset from the 105 R7000 group. In addition to a new look, this crankset also provides improved performance.
The design of the new FC-R7000 crankset is immediately striking. The FC-R7000 has the design of the Ultegra R8000 crankset. Plus, the new 105 crankset has wider crank arms, like the ones you find on Ultegra and Dura-Ace cranksets. The hollow-forged crank arms of the 105 series have a minimised weight, without losing rigidity. This maximises the way force is converted into speed.
Plus, Shimano has changed the position of the inner chainring by increasing the distance between the chainrings. This reduces the chance of cross-chaining, allowing you to ride with more extreme chain positions. This makes the 105 series suitable for cyclists who'd like to ride in competitions, without switching to an Ultegra or Dura-Ace group.
