The Max Flite is equipped with shock absorbers. These absorb vibrations and reduce shaking to a minimum. The extra thick padding prevents chafing and pressure points and contributes to a high riding comfort. The saddle rail is made of TI-316 steel, which is not only stainless, but also 25 percent stronger and 15 percent lighter than commonly used steel types.

Externally, the saddle has changed slightly but fit is still the same compared to an earlier one of the same type.

Very nice saddle, but if you sit on it you can't see anything of it anymore
Been looking for the right saddle for ages. Saddle pain (seat bones) after every exactly 30 minutes. It is then standing and sitting again, shifting etc until the ride is over. First of all, compliments on Mantel's service in all respects. Clear website, choices, but also definitely the professional answers to questions when you email them. By now I've ordered a lot from Mantel and despite everything always got it the next day. The 30 days: not good money back is really a godsend to find out once and for all which saddle fits. I have (sorry Mantel) also frequently used this extra service. The competition has it too, but many saddles there are more expensive and if you order there, they suddenly turn out to be out of stock. We are close, but this saddle was not it. It really is a nice saddle and you would keep it for that reason alone, but it's all about sitting. My seat bone width (measured 3x is 125mm) and don't move much in my opinion and fairly lithe, at least if the yardstick is if you can touch your toes with your legs stretched out. The decision aid certainly helps and especially if you don't know much about saddles yet, but this does change
