The Addix compound has managed to crack the ordinary trade off between wear, rolling resistance, and grip. This is a dilemma which has occupied the cycling tyre industry for years. Normally, they’d have to sacrifice one of these traits to improve the others, but no longer. Schwalbe has raised the bar even further when it comes to performance and quality with Addix. Not just for XC-racing use, but for all mountain biking disciplines, which all have their own specific needs and demands. Gripping, mud shredding, light weight, bargain price
Bought for an xc race, transformed the bikes handling and into what I needed which was to deal with craggy, loose and a bit boggy course. The tyres never lost grip or clogged and cleaned perfectly.

Great tyre for all round.
I have ridden these a few times in a range of different conditions, they are fast rolling and have bags of grip. I a et them up tubelessly, they inflated with out two much hassle first time. Great all round tyre. They do struggle a little in very muddy conditions and there are faster dry/dusty tyres out there. However they work really well in all conditions in between.

One tyre is perfect the other has a distortion which makes the tyre appear buckled.
The tyres inflated tubeless and seated on the rims easily. One was perfect. The other, I tried on three rims and each time the tyre seated correctly but inflated buckled. I am awaiting response on the issue from Mantle and Schwable. I have sent a video clip but can't attach it here.
