The Schwalbe Big Apple kicked off the Balloonbike trend around ten years back: comfortable cycling without complicated and expensive technologies. Air cushion tyres function as natural suspension. With around 2 bar pressure, a balloonbike rolls very lightly and with full suspension effect. A regular tyre with 37mm width needs 4 bar in order to roll just as smoothly.

Fijne band voor op de weg
Deze band ligt op mijn mountainbike zodat ik zonder gripverlies ermee op de openbare weg kan rijden. De band geeft ruim voldoende grip en biedt een lage rolweerstand. Ik heb de band daarvoor ook wat harder opgepompt, binnen de grenzen zoals aangegeven door de fabrikant. Wanneer ik weer in de bossen ga rijden dan wissel ik de banden gewoon weer om. Aanrader!

Degelijke band
Na verschillende lekke banden tijdens mijn woon werk rit deze banden aangeschaft op advies van een mantel medewerker. En nog geen moment spijt van.
