Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- Due to its compact size and low weight, you will hardly notice that this mini pump is in your back pocket.
- The integrated ABS pump hose makes the pump very easy to use and is more resistant to dirt and wear.
- Because the Pocket Drive HV pumps a lot of air into the tyre per stroke, this mini pump is very suitable for larger tyres, such as mountain bike tyres.
- The maximum pump pressure of 6.2 bar makes this pump unsuitable for road bike tyres. For those tyres, the Sport Drive is a better choice.

Construction
Thanks to the use of high-quality materials, such as CNC-machined aluminium, this pump is able to offer the best possible performance. Both the exterior and internal components are made of aluminium, which makes pumping feel sturdy. Furthermore, the handle is ribbed for extra grip during pumping.
ABS Flex Hose
The integrated ABS Flex Hose makes the pump super easy to use because you do not have to keep the pump pressed tightly on the valve. Furthermore, the ABS Flex Hose has a button to release air in order to take the tension off the valve when you're done pumping, and to make it easier to disconnect the hose from the valve. Finally, the Pocket Drive HV is suitable for Presta and Schrader valves.
The Pocket Drive HV is ideal for the mountain biker who never actually gets a flat tyre yet wants to carry a small and lightweight pump just in case. The combination of high-quality materials, a compact size and excellent performance makes the Pocket Drive HV the perfect choice.
• Length: 140 mm
The flexible pump hose is normally hidden inside the pump. To change the valve type, reverse the pump hose. On one side it says 'Presta' for Presta and Dunlop valves, and on the other it says 'Schrader'.
What makes this a High Volume pump (HV)?
A High Volume pump such as the Lezyne Pocket Drive HV pumps more air into the tyre per stroke than a regular pump. This is particularly efficient when inflating very large tyres such as MTB tyres. As the Pocket Drive HV is a mini pump, you will still need relatively many pump strokes, but these are more efficient compared to a road bike specific pump. An HV pump can also be used for wide gravel tyres.

Perfect pump for your gravel bike or mtb :-)
No experience on the road yet, but tested at home, test -= successful :-)

highly recommended
Already had these on my mtb. Now bought it for my gravel bike. Very easy to use for both AV and presta. Nice volume during inflation and looks neat too.

Smart pump, with hose, for two valve types
I find it an ideal pump on the go. It comes with a hose that you can screw onto the pump in two ways for either a schrader valve (car) or a presta valve (French). That hose also makes sure you don't exert as much force on the valve when pumping. Very cleverly conceived and perfectly executed, this pump.

At first sight good , quickly fell apart
At first sight, it seemed a good pump, however, after using it 4 times, it fell apart into pieces. The air seal came loose and so the pump is completely useless. Too bad

A good pump for MTBs
I was looking for a hand pump for my mtb. My current (road bike) pump was already 8 years old and was not practical for mtb tyres, so it took far too long to pump. Hence I deliberately chose a 'large volume' pump, with hose. Pumping saves ne much time, but most of all it saves soured arms from pumping.
