Once, but not again.
Until now, always used original ones and now for the first time these. It was always screw in, click in and cycle. Now I had to change the settings of the pedals first and still it is difficult to click in.
Pros & Cons
1 / 5
Almost impossible to click in
One kilometre I struggled to click in my left shoe (I still had a Shimano plate on the right). Even with my full 80 kg on one leg it didn't work. A drop of oil on the plate and pedal resistance on the lightest setting instead of medium proved necessary to click it in. Unfortunately, that is not my favourite setting. Closer inspection reveals that the BBB plate at the back slopes much less steeply, so you have to apply much more force to engage. Design fault ? Am apparently not the only one with this problem if I read the reviews.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Feels sturdy and solid
Clicks perfectly into the pedal but had to be adjusted by adjusting the adjustment spring. Disadvantage is that with 2 pairs of shoes and 2 different clickers it is not easy to change shoes.

Fine, affordable cleats
Comes with everything you need to start cycling. Feels similar to the Shimano plates, just seems to wear out less quickly.
