Descrizione
The Shimano XC501 mountainbike shoe for men is the perfect cycling shoe for the avid cyclist that has certain standards concerning his shoe choice. The shoe has a Boa L6 closure to ensure precise adjustment of the fit, without having any worrisome pressure points as all pressure evenly distributes itself along the wires covering the foot. The toes are equipped with a velcro strap to ensure a good fit. The sole of the Shimano XC501 is made of a combination of nylon injected with glasfiber. Making the sole comfortable enough for long rides while still being stiff enough to transfer enough power to the pedals; reducing power loss per pedal stroke.
The shoe's rubber outer sole is made in collaboration with Michelin, ensuring an expert rubber is used. This rubber sole has been made to achieve proper grip in slippery and muddy terrain while the stubs are designed to get rid of mud and dirt sticking to the shoe. Stopping the soles of getting overloaded and helping with grip. The upper part of the SHimano XC501 mountainbike shoe is made of a combination of mesh, TPU and synthetic leather. Having a positive effect on ventilation and good impact resistance.
• Glass fiber injected for extra stiffness
• Boa L6 turning system for precise adjustment of the Shimano XC501 shoe
• Mesh/TPU/Synthetic leather upper deck for comfort and ventilation
• Lightweight, high performance mid-range shoe
In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
What shoe size you need can differ per brand. This is because certain brands wear larger or smaller. To help you get the perfect fit, we've also classified the shoes as narrow, average, or wide fit. Read all about it in our blog!
