The Shimano WH-MT600 MTB wheels are new tubeless-ready mountain bike wheels at Shimano SLX level. The Shimano WH-MT600 wheels look great for a wheelset at this price level. The wheels are equipped with wide tubeless rims, which greatly enhances comfort. If you make the rims tubeless with tubeless tyres, tubeless valves and latex, the risk of punctures is extremely small. Most of the puncture holes are filled within seconds so that you can continue cycling. Body type for 12-speed
Some 12-speed cassettes must be mounted on the 10/11-speed Shimano/SRAM body. These are the SRAM NX Eagle PG-1230 cassettes and almost all other 12-speed MTB cassettes with 11 as the smallest sprocket. MTB cassettes with 10 as their smallest sprocket need a special body. For Shimano, this is a Micro-Spline body and for SRAM an XD body.
