The Shimano Deore / Ryde Zac 19 are 36-spoke MTB wheels for rim brakes. This mountain bike wheelset can be used on 26 inch mountain bikes with V-brakes. The wheels are hand-spoked and have a good pressure distribution thanks to the 36 spokes in both the front and rear wheel. Thanks to the 36 spokes, you will experience more comfort and easier cornering. The large number of spokes also makes the wheels super strong! The Shimano Deore hubs with cup & cone bearings ensure the wheels roll very smoothly indeed.
Freehub body type with 12 speed
Some 12 speed cassettes must be mounted on the 10/11 speed Shimano/SRAM freehub body. These are SRAM NX Eagle PG-1230 cassettes and almost all other 12 speed MTB cassettes with 11 as the smallest sprocket. MTB cassettes with 10 as the smallest sprocket need a special freehub body. For Shimano this is a Micro-Spline freehub and for SRAM an XD freehub.
