The Mavic Ksyrium SL Disc Brake road bike wheels are your best choice for the hills and mountains. They have extremely lightweight tubeless-ready rims that require no tubeless tape, saving another 60 grams per rim. This is a great boost to achieve the right cadence for getting up to speed and keeping these wheels going while climbing.

These wheels also feature Infinity hubs with QRM auto industrial bearings that require little maintenance and offer long-term quality. In addition, the spokes are laced into the hubs in such a way that they make no contact with each other and cause no friction. The Zicral spokes have been widened over the entire length so that spontaneous spoke breakage is virtually impossible.

It also activates the crash replacement option, which gives you up to 40% discount on a comparable product. (ID360) Instant Drive 360
The Instant Drive 360 freewheel body system is super light and has a fast engaging ratchet system with only 9 degrees of engagement. A large rubber seal minimises friction and accessibility. An oversized axle and the hardened aluminium freehub save 40 grams.

Zicral spokes: lightweight, stiff and strong
A specific aluminium alloy that provides spokes with a better balance between stiffness and weight while being super strong. Zicral spokes are lighter for easier climbing, stiffer for better power transfer, and stronger for increased durability.

Rather than being drilled, the lower rim bridge is pushed up on the inside, then threaded to enable the spoke nipples to be directly screwed into it, leaving the upper rim bridge intact. As a result, the rim is 4 times more resistant to fatigue stress, and rim rigidity increases by 20% for maximum power transfer.

(SUP) Stronger and smoother rim joint Soudé Usiné Process
After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a stiff and smooth finish.

The spokes are laced radially on the drive side and crossed 2 on the non drive side to maximise power transfer. It creates a perfect balance between the spoke tension on the left and right flanges.
