Energy booster
The Energize Bar is PowerBar's energy booster. Each bar contains a rich carbohydrate basis with 37 carbs. The carbohydrates in the Energize Bar come from two sources, glucose and fructose. The 2:1 glucose to fructose ratio enables a maximum carb absorption of 90 grams per hour. This is ideal to keep you going without hitting the proverbial wall.

Extra benefits
The PowerBar Energize Bars also contain extra sodium and magnesium. Sodium improves moisture regulation and makes you feel thirsty, which helps you to hydrate well during exercise. Besides, you lose a lot of sodium through perspiration. It is therefore important to replenish your sodium reserves. Magnesium supports normal muscle function.

The PowerBar Energize Bar is easy to digest, which makes it a perfect energy bar to consume during a workout. Energize Bars can also be taken prior to the workout to maximise carbohydrate reserves.

Recommended use: Take before and during exercise. Do not take more than 4 bars per day. Take 1 bar 1 hour before the workout. Take 1 or 2 bars per hour during the workout with a few sips of water or sports drink.
