Field of view and protection
The Oakley Vanguard Meta Prizm 24K smart glasses offer functional performance with durable protection. While the Oakley Prizm lens provides optimal vision and contrast, the wrap-around design ensures a wide field of view. The 12 MP camera with a 122 degree field of view captures images in 3K Ultra HD, ensuring every detail is sharp. With an IP67 rating, the glasses are resistant to water, dust and sweat, making them suitable for prolonged use in a variety of conditions. The fit remains stable and comfortable no matter how intense your exercise and how long you wear the glasses, so that they continue to perform with reliability.

Convenience and smart features
Equipped with Meta AI, the Oakley Vanguard Meta Prizm 24K glasses respond to commands such as "Hey Meta, how far have I cycled so far?" or "Hey Meta, how is my ride going?". The open-ear speakers deliver immersive audio that adapts to the environment. Battery life is up to 9 hours with normal use and up to 36 hours with the fully charged charging case. The automatic recording option (Action Auto Capture) in combination with Garmin devices makes capturing images easy without manual operation. When the recording LED light is on, the environment knows that filming or live streaming is taking place. The Meta AI app can be used to customise settings, share photos and personalise the Vanguard's functions. Pairing with the app ensures an intuitive experience and easy operation. In addition, the glasses are designed with accessibility in mind and offer support to people with impaired vision, hearing or mobility.

"Hey Meta, ..."
The hands-free AI assistant can help to start video recordings and phone calls, and offers integration with Strava and Garmin to provide insight into your performance. Thus, it can link captured videos to the relevant workouts. The five microphones in the glasses (two in the legs and three around the nose) ensure that voice commands are properly recognised, even in windy conditions. Thanks to the combination of voice control and open-ear speakers, you will be able to enjoy full hands-free use of the latest AI technology that seamlessly connects to music and phone during all your activities.

• Prescription glasses: These glasses are not suitable for people who wear prescription glasses. Prescription lenses for these glasses are not available. If you wear glasses on a daily basis, please bear this in mind.

Not included:
• USB-C charging cable. Although one isn’t included, it is a commonly used cable these days - there is a good chance that you already have one at home.

There’s nothing to assemble here: Just unpack, charge and pair – and you’re ready to go! Use the Meta AI app on your phone to adjust the settings: Download the app, activate Bluetooth, and follow the steps in the app to pair your glasses. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for the initial set-up.

As for the nosepads, if the standard ones don’t fit comfortably, you can easily click the other pair into place yourself. The Meta AI app will guide you through the process step by step.

• Charge both the glasses and the case before a long ride. With 9 hours’ use plus 36 hours from the case, you’ll be sorted for a whole day and more.
• Use the customisable action button to activate your most frequently used function (such as recording or music) with a single press. You'll love this particularly when wearing gloves.
• Clean the lens with a soft microfibre cloth and without harsh chemicals to keep the coating in good condition.
• Do you cycle in the evening or at dusk? This Prizm 24K lens is really designed for bright sunlight and will be too dark for low-light conditions. Use lighter cycling glasses for rides in the dark.

Is the charging cable included with the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI Prizm 24K glasses?
No, the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI Prizm 24K does not come with a USB-C charging cable in the box. You do get the charging case but the cable needed to charge both the case and the glasses is not included in the delivery. Any standard USB-C cable will work, so if you have one at home, you can use it.

Will the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI glasses work with my phone?
The Oakley Vanguard Meta AI works with smartphones running iOS 15.2 or later and Android 10 or later, paired through the free Meta AI app using Bluetooth 5.3. To check whether your specific device is supported, consult Oakley’s list of supported phones. Without a paired phone, the glasses have limited functionality.

For how long will the battery in the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI glasses run?
The battery will run for up to 9 hours with daily use, and up to 6 hours with continuous audio playback. The included charging case adds a further 36 hours, and a full charge takes around 75 minutes. This means you can easily use it through a whole day of cycling.

Can I wear the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI Prizm 24K glasses in the evening or in the dark?
No, the Prizm 24K lens on the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI only lets 11% of light through and is designed for bright, sunny conditions. This lens is too dark for twilight or darkness. If you’re looking for a lighter lens for changeable weather, check out the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI Prizm Road glasses.

What is the difference between the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI Prizm 24K glasses and the Prizm Road glasses?
The Oakley Vanguard Meta AI Prizm 24K and the Prizm Road are technically identical (same camera, audio, Meta AI and 9-hour battery runtime); the only difference is the lens colour. While the Prizm 24K is a dark lens for bright sunshine, the Prizm Road lens is lighter and more suitable for changeable to sunny weather. If you mainly cycle in bright sunlight, choose the 24K lens; if you switch frequently between sunny and cloudy conditions, the Road lens is a better option.

Are the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI glasses water-resistant?
Yes, the Oakley Vanguard Meta AI has an IP67 rating and, thus, is sweat-, dust- and water-resistant. It is designed for high-intensity rides and can easily withstand heavy rainfall or a good sweat. However, submerging it in water is not recommended.
