In fact, the Rival line incorporates technologies from the higher-end Force and Red series but at a lower price! This updated front derailleur features an updated design, making it lighter and allowing for smoother shifting action than its predecessor.

The SRAM Rival eTap AXS E1 front derailleur is a stylish addition to your SRAM drivetrain. It uses AXS technology to make smooth and customisable wireless shifting a reality. Thanks to Yaw technology, the derailleur rotates to keep a continuous angle with the chain, so you don't need to make adjustments as soon as the chain becomes slightly inclined. This prevents unnecessary chain wear and eliminates the need for you to check or adjust the position of your front derailleur! This Rival derailleur is compatible with 48/35, 46/33 and even 50/37 cranksets. The use of the 45 mm standard chain line means that this derailleur can also be used with the Force AXS and Red AXS cranks.

X-Range gearing
SRAM X-Range technology ensures you have an efficient drivetrain by moving your shifting range from your crank to your cassette. SRAM has designed the cassette to give you smaller but more consistent intervals between sprockets. This also allows for a wider range, up to 360% (or 10-36t)! All in all, this allows you to continue on the same front chainring and, therefore, to shift up or down more smoothly.

Yaw technology
The SRAM Yaw rotating front derailleur cage is an innovative solution to avoid having to make minor adjustments to the shifters when the chain is angled. This is because the Rival AXS E1 front derailleur rotates slightly to keep an equal angle with the chain. As a result, it ensures direct and precise shifting performance!
