The Garmin Edge Explore is Garmin's new GPS Cycling Navigation. With the Garmin Edge Explore you can easily discover new cycling routes, easily exchange data with other sensors and always be in contact with personal contacts.

The Garmin Edge Explore is easy to use. The bicycle navigation is equipped with a touch-sensitive touch screen (3 inches). The screen responds quickly to fingertips and is glove-friendly. Even during a rainstorm, the display continues to respond well to touches, despite raindrops on the screen. Even when the weather is good, the screen functions perfectly. The touchscreen is very bright. Even in direct sunlight, the screen is easy to read.

With the GPS function, you can track all your bike rides. Wherever you cycle, how far, how fast or how high, the Edge Explore cycling navigation keeps track of everything. The preinstalled Garmin Cycle Map also makes it easy to see what other cyclists' popular cycling routes are. You can also easily create your routes on the bike navigation or let the Edge define a route.

The Garmin Bicycle Navigation is also compatible with Livetrack, Group track, smart notifications, message exchange with other cyclists, and built-in accident detection. Thanks to the ANT+ connection, you can easily exchange data with heart rate monitors, speed sensors, cadence sensors and other sensors with ANT+. You can also access free apps, widgets and other data from the IQ Store.

The Edge Explore can be connected to various safety sensors for added safety, such as smart lighting and rearview radars. The Edge Explore is compatible with, among other things, the Garmin Varia smart lighting. This combination allows you to easily detect and warn traffic that is coming in behind you.

With a maximum battery life of 12 hours, you will be provided with optimal guidance during the best cycling routes.

Is it possible to pair this bike computer with a power meter?
No, it is not possible to pair the Garmin Edge Explore with a power meter.

Can you pair a heart rate sensor, speed sensor and cadence sensor of another brand (e.g. Wahoo, Polar and Mio)?
If the sensor is ANT+ and/or Bluetooth-enabled, you can pair it with the Garmin Edge Explore.

Is a handlebar mount included?
Yes, the Garmin standard handlebar mount is included. A Garmin Out-Front bracket is not included, however.

What maps come with it?
This bike computer comes with a map of Europe as standard. You can update the maps via Garmin Expres. These updates are released several times a year.
