Professional cyclists back in the days used newspapers during cold conditions or long descents to prevent problems with their lungs and breathing. But now Castelli has come up with the Lung Warmer. It ensures that you can breathe easily in cold conditions. Ideal for your warming up or the first part of your training.

The Lung Warmer comprises out of a Windstopper that protects the lungs from cold air. The neck of the Lung Warmer is raised so no cold air comes in. The Lung Warmer is equipped with a tear-away closure, what makes it easy to store in your back pocket.

Great idea, better quality than expected

Being able to protect neck and chest from cold air while not adding an extra insulating layer is really helpful. I was afraid my neck would sweat, but the material is very breathable around the neck. It's so small and light that you can hide it in any pocket, so I take it everywhere I go. It can be removed with ease using just one hand, and stuffed into any pocket.
