The Oakley DRT5 is Oakley's latest and ultra-versatile MTB helmet. This high-end helmet was designed in collaboration with world downhill champion Greg Minnaar. This MTB helmet equips mountain bikers with the latest technologies, which focus on performance and protection at the highest level.
The Oakley DRT5 was engineered to accommodate cycling glasses. This results in the helmet having an innovative Eyewear Landing Zone that allows you to safely store your cycling glasses. This is located at the rearmost vents of the helmet and is very easy to use.
This MTB helmet has a washable silicone gel pad in front that keeps sweat off your forehead. The BOA system allows you to adjust the fit perfectly to your head's shape and size. The TX1 Lace retention system was designed to minimise possible pressure points of cycling glasses on the temple. This system sits close to the head, which allows for wearing cycling glasses as if it were completely natural.
Protection is key with this mountain bike helmet. The Oakley DRT5 has MIPS on the inside. This is an additional layer that allows the helmet to move slightly during a crash (rotate and slide) in relation to your head, thereby absorbing more of the forces caused by said crash. As a result, the impact on the brain is reduced significantly.
The Oakley DRT5 provides the best possible protection, allowing you to face the roughest and most challenging terrain.
