The SKS Explorer EXP saddle bag is a waterproof and functional accessory for all types and sizes of bikepacking adventures. Thanks to the generous 8 litre capacity, you will not have to leave anything at home - except if it weighs too much, of course! A saddle bag is an ideal replacement for a backpack; after all, on long bike rides you want as little weight on your body as possible.

Clip-on mudguard
When you are bikepacking, you don't always know what you are going to encounter. You may suddenly find yourself on a muddy country road, or be close to your destination and it starts raining. In such situations, a saddle bag alone already serves as a mudguard, but it can be quite annoying if the bag that you want to use off the bike is dirty. With this Explorer bag and clip-on mudguard, this problem is a thing of the past. The mudguard is easy to attach and detach to the bag, without the need for tools, and really helps to keep the bag clean. This clip-on system also makes it easy to rinse the mudguard off.

The SKS Explorer EXP saddle bag can be attached to road bikes, gravel bikes, cyclo-cross bikes, trekking bikes and mountain bikes.

The mudguard can be fitted to the bag without tools. The bag itself is mounted to the seat post with a wide Velcro strap, and to the saddle with straps.
