Good price for occasional use

- Maxime, 26 July, 2023

Efficient and inexpensive, 2-3 taps on it and it's off without a hitch for a BB94 pressfit. For regular use it will be a little light due to the blades being a little too 'soft'.

Not the best piece of kit, but does what it needs to do

- Roel, 10 May, 2022

Use is easy, but be careful, it bends easily with me and then you can just hit the wrong thing.

Pros & Cons

Works with bending also for 30 mm bottom brackets
Very flexible, fortunately you won't need it very often

Cheap is expensive, it turns out.

- Jasper, 8 January, 2022

Ordered this product to tap out the BB of my MTB, but after two blows with a hammer to the end, that 'star end' is already bent. Doesn't work at all. I should have read the reviews better when buying.

Pros & Cons

works, but with arts and crafts

- Sjak, 11 November, 2021

The cups were so tightly attached at the factory that the spring-loaded ends of the BTL-113 bent. In the end, however, the removal succeeded by first inserting the remover, then hammering a piece of broomstick 24mm in the open end and only then applying force to the cups.

Satisfies for the application

- Walter, 7 November, 2021

Bottom bracket was very stuck, so bearing knocked out of Bottom bracket and plastic housing was left behind in frame. Then it was easy to gently tap the plastic housing out with, for example, a screwdriver and hammer. In short, fine little thing

Doesn't always work out, be mindful!

- Edgar, 1 June, 2021

I did not manage to use it for the BB71. Clicked hard behind the bearings and slid over when I hit it. Have to add that the BB was incredibly tight. Had to put the bike on the ground and use brute force. In the process, I damaged the frame due to the force required.

Pros & Cons

easily mouldable

Quickly remove your cups, but beware!

- Roel, 2 February, 2021

With this tool you tap your press fit cups out of your frame in no time. I used it on an aluminium frame, and what is striking is that you can clearly see where the tool touches the frame. Purely visual damage, nothing constructive. Still, I wouldn't dare use it on a carbon frame!

Pros & Cons

Visual damage in bottom bracket after use
