The PowerBar 33% ProteinPlus Bar is a protein bar for powerhouse athletes. The 33% ProteinPlus Bar consists of 33% proteins. With a protein content of 30 grams a bar, the 33% ProteinPlus Bar is exceptionally high in protein. This makes the PowerBar 33% ProteinPlus Bar very suited for consumption after extremely tough exercise, when the need for recovery is high. Proteins contribute to recovery of damaged muscle fibres and retention of muscle mass.
The proteins in the 33% ProteinPlus Bar consist of whey and casein proteins. This combination of simple and complex carbohydrates results in a gradual and long-lasting protein supply. The high level of proteins also ensures this bar provides a sated feeling. This makes the protein bars excellent for consuming between meals to ease hunger.
