The Fulcrum SONIQ GR gravel wheels deliver high speeds over rough terrain. With Fulcrum's unique, variable-height rim profile, they bring aerodynamics, speed and control on unpaved terrain perfectly together. With a 30 mm internal rim width, the wheels are compatible with wide gravel tyres, which will sit wide on the rim to provide a large contact area and great grip. Thanks to the absence of drill holes for spoke nipples, no rim tape is required and the rim is equally strong throughout. This results in lower weight and improved stiffness. The design with mini hooks ensures you get most of the benefits of hookless rims without the compatibility issues that usually come with them.

Materials and construction
At the core of these gravel wheels is FF80 carbon fibre, which offers an excellent balance between low weight and high strength. The rims feature Fulcrum's 2-Wave profile with an alternating rim height of 47 to 52 mm. This rim design significantly improves airflow around the wheel, greatly reducing crosswind sensitivity and frontal drag. The rims include a mini-hook system that works perfectly with wide tyres. This strong material provides the stiffness and reliability you need on rough terrain.

The bearing preload is adjustable, so you can always optimise the bearings for minimal resistance. With a 30 mm inner rim width, the construction is optimised for wide gravel tyres.
