Description
The Time Xpresso 10 pedals are lightweight carbon pedals. These road bike pedals feature an extra large 700 mm² pedal platform with a replaceable aluminium plate. These fast pedals are beloved by both novice and advanced riders alike, as they're very easy to use. The Sensor Elasticity Tuner system allows you to adjust to level of play to three different settings. The maximum freedom of movement setting allows for 5 degrees of play, making these pedals ideal for people who easily suffer from knee injuries. The Q-factor -the distance between the pedal and crank arm- can also be adjusted by 2.5 mm.
A definite advantage to the Time Xpresso pedal range is the fact that the retention mechanism remains open when not engaged. Other pedals require you to push down with your heel to open the spring mechanism, but the Time Xpresso mechanism remains open completely by design. Once you engage your cleat, the retention mechanism closes and locks you into place. Time pedals have always been known for offering ample freedom of movement, making them ideal for those who suffer from joint injuries.
