Wahoo KICKR Headwind

If you bike a lot indoors, a good fan is a necessity. After a year of messing around with fans we had at home, we bought this one. Airflow is powerful and fine. It does stop there: it is extremely loud (hum) when it barely blows and has a cheap black plastic look and an adapter for the plug to connect it. Returned and bought Elite Aria - it does what you expect, is much quieter and better built.

Blows nice and hard and is compact, making it great to use under my desk. I'm just surprised it came with a UK plug.

Fantastic. The heat no longer rises to your head. And no more soggy towels. A lot more comfort while working out. Regret not having done this sooner.

Works perfectly, almost always keeps me well dry. The harder I cycle, the harder it blows.

Previously pile of wet towels after 1 or 2 hours of Zwiften. Now just dabbing occasionally. World of difference. Delivers some extra Watts too.

Thought the heart rate/fan speed link was more of a niche play thingy, but this is really that good!

It's not exactly beautiful or cheap, but it's exactly what you need when you're cycling hard. Much better than an average fan!

It's super loud even at lower speeds. I'm super disappointed with it. with it's price tag I expected much more quality. I do not recommend it at all. a simple fan will do the job. again it's super loud and that makes it unacceptable.

I've had the Wahoo kickr headwind since just under a week. Rode a long ride with it yesterday for the first time. Before, I could wring out my clothes after I finished my ride cycling on my tacx flux 2. But now it was a bit clammy at most. Really added value to tacx in the attic. Again, delivered super neatly and quickly by Mantel.

Like many, I didn't see the point of buying a "fan". But the Wahoo Headwind really is a must-have if you want to do a lot of indoor cycling. The regular fan I used until utility was noisy and not very efficient. The Wahoo Headwind moves much more air, is quieter, and cools your body in function of your heart rate or speed. You overheat less quickly, perspire much less, so indoor training is a lot more pleasant.

I was doubtful at first about this fan which I purchased for my husbands Birthday as it is on the pricey side. But once he (and me) used it the price is justified. Great piece of kit that He wouldn’t want to miss now.

Use the headwind to keep cool while on my turbo trainer in the conservatory, does well keeping me cool when temperatures can hit 45C. Fan quiet & effective! Only down side was has a European plug, so had to order adapter. Would by again.......
