Top tyres

- Daniël, 19 April, 2024

I have the 28 mm version on my Bianchi Oltre Pro bike. After 1 season (6,000 km), the rear tyre was worn out. Front tyre will last a while longer. Super grip (even with lots of rain and wet roads). I myself weigh 85 kg and ride with 5.5 bar pressure in the tyres. Quite comfortable and I haven't had a puncture. Would recommend them to anyone as the better alternative to the Continental GP 5000.

Pros & Cons

As a tubeless puncture-proof tyre
Looks nice
Sticking to the road
Quite pricey

Among the very best TL race tyres

- Nicolaj, 11 February, 2024

Shares first place with the Continental GP5000 as perhaps the very best tubeless race tyre. Fast enough for racing and durable enough for training.

Top notch tire, both in terms of mounting and use.

- Guy, 17 August, 2022

Started riding tubeless a few months ago because of higher comfort, less punctures and lower rolling resistance. At the back I mounted Continental GP 5000 S TR, but after about 2000km it was already pretty worn out. On the front I had already mounted Pirelli P zero and after 2 months it was still in pretty good shape: little or no cuts and no punctures. So I decided to install this Pirelli on the rear as well. In terms of rolling resistance little difference compared to conti 5000, but mounting is much easier. Tubeless fitting is no problem at all: first day a little pressure loss, after that the tire kept its pressure nicely. Durability remains to be seen, but I suspect it will be higher than the conti 5000.

Pros & Cons

Easily tubeless.
Low rolling resistance.
Puncture resistance.

Best all round road tyre there is

- Andy, 26 July, 2022

These tyres are long lasting and quick rolling with excellent puncture resistance. On anything other than a race bike they are my 'go to tyre'. 26, 28 & 30mm options are all getting good use!

Pros & Cons

Durable
Easy to fit
Fast rolling
good puncture resistance
Holds air well

Excellent tubeless tyres! Great alternative to the GP5000 TL!

- Jeroen, 19 July, 2022

Excellent tubeless tyre! The tyre is many times easier to put on the rim than, for example, continentals. Very easy to tubeless and keeps their pressure fantastic. Hardly any deflation if you're not on the bike for a few days. I have now ridden 550 km with them and they seem excellent tyres. Very good grip, fast and wear seems fine so far, although time will tell. With continental I often had cuts in the cheeks during these km. The pirelli's still look like new, even after a few gravel strips. I bought them because the continental ones keep turning out to be unavailable. Never regretted it for a moment!

Easy tubeless mounting

Absolute top band

- T., 16 April, 2022

I switched to this tyre a while ago and have now driven 2000Km with it in different conditions. Both dry and wet, as well as in freezing temperatures (1-2°C below zero). And I must say this tyre never loses its grip! Whereas with other (top) tyres I had pebbles or nicks in the tyre after a few wet rides, the Pirelli still looks like new. The latex in the tyre has not yet had to seal any holes. I don't feel that this tyre is slower than the Continental GP5000. Fitting went really smoothly. No problems for mounting it on the rim or getting it airtight. Am just positively surprised with this tyre and do not plan to go back to the GP5000. I have the 30mm version and ride at 5.1bar. There is a clear table on the packaging about the most appropriate tyre pressure. Quality has its price. The P Zero is pricey but one gets an absolute top tyre with top performance.

Very good tubeless tyres

- Kristian, 21 October, 2020

Easy to get on the rim. I had no problems at all. Running at 6 bar (28mm tyre) pressure, rolls very nicely and comfortably for a racing tyre.
