The best lights for the bike are those from Lezyne

- Martin, 20 June, 2025

The lamp is top quality. I do a lot of travelling in the dark. Several mounting options are also great. Elasticated mounting, handlebar bracket with click-in mechanism and even helmet mounting.

Mega lamp that is very, very bright

- Thomas Steber, 29 April, 2025

The lamp exceeds my expectations. As my commute takes me through a forest, I was looking for a lamp with good illumination for a reasonable price. The illumination is very, very good. The only thing I miss is the option to switch from the lowest to the highest setting

You drive more safely with (sufficiently long) rubber.

- Jana, 25 April, 2025

An extremely good and powerful light. I can't understand why the mounting strap isn't a bit longer with so many aero handlebars out there.

Outstanding front bike light at a fair price!

- Daniel, 15 November, 2024

I had a direct comparison with my mate and his front light on a bike tour in the dark forest: the illumination of the 1200+ is outstanding and the light shines out without shaking thanks to the excellent mounting. Truly an impressive lamp!

Versatile headlamp that enhances safety.

- Ger, 13 November, 2024

I recently purchased the Lezyne Lite Drive 1200+ headlamp and mounted it under my Garmin using the Lezyne GoPro Led Adapter. Initially, I was a bit worried about whether the weight of the lamp would be too much for the mount, but it turned out to be no problem at all. The lamp performs great, especially thanks to the daylight flash mode. It makes me highly visible to traffic during the day, even with a low sun at my back. This gives me extra confidence that I will be noticed by oncoming traffic in varying light conditions. At night, the Lezyne Lite Drive offers a convenient range of light modes, which are well balanced between battery life, visibility and being able to see in different conditions. I only use the strongest mode on unlit, winding or unpaved stretches, where maximum range and brightness are really needed. For most other situations, a lower setting is sufficient, which improves battery life. In short, the Lezyne Lite Drive 1200+ is a versatile and reliable headlamp that provides excellent visibility and safety during both day and night.

Very good lamp for unlit roads and city streets.

- JULIEN, 28 October, 2024

The increase in the number of LED bulbs means that the light is wider and uses less energy than my old 1300xxl model. The only fault is that the USB port is under the lamp instead of behind it, as on my old lamp, so (I think) that in reverse mode when it's raining, water will seep into the charging port, even though there's a waterproof plug. Even though there's a waterproof plug (so I've put it back in its normal position and it's no longer on my GPS holder in the centre of the handlebars, which is a shame).

Effective, unbeatable value for money

- Louis, 19 October, 2024

I bought this lamp after having mine stolen, I was on the Lezyne 1000XL and I'm not disappointed with the quality of the 1200 Lyte! Compact and powerful, I mainly use it for night outings in the forest on challenging trails! I'm sorry if the ride doesn't exceed 3 hours, but the battery life is very good. I would, however, have a slight problem with the light beam, which could be a little wider on the sides... and the attachment system isn't very ergonomic when you want to change the lamp on your bike (I use it for gravel riding AND for commuting on 2 different bikes).

Does what it is supposed to do and is also useful for rides in the forest.

- Markus, 26 September, 2024

The lamp makes a stable impression and is relatively light. I am satisfied with the illumination, the light cone is nice and wide, which also pays off when riding in the forest.

Powerful light with a wide range of settings

- Moritz, 18 September, 2024

The light is extremely bright when maximised and illuminates the path perfectly, even in the forest. Operation is simple and so is the installation. I also use it on my road bike, but in a more road-friendly setting so as not to dazzle cars in the dark. I am very satisfied and can recommend the light to anyone who cycles in the dark. A clear recommendation to buy

Very good product from the lezyne range

- Valerie, 17 December, 2023

Having already tried the lezyne 1300 XL, I was won over by the more compact 1200 lumen version. Impeccable!

Compact powerhouse with a nice even beam.

- Martin, 10 December, 2023

I use the Lezyne Lite Drive 1200+ on my road bike which I use for commuting (48km). Like on many other models, Lezyne has a race mode: pressing the button for 5 seconds from off mode puts you into this mode. This leaves you with only 2 modes (300 lumens / 1200 lumens) instead of 7 different modes. For road cycling, I find this ideal. 300 lumens is more than enough to illuminate the road + shoulder some 50 metres ahead of you. The 1200 lumen setting does not necessarily allow you to see further ahead, it just lights up more brightly. I personally only use the highest setting in dangerous situations, or to signal motorists who don't turn off their high beams. On the 300 lumen enduro setting, Lezyne says the lamp should do 9.5 hours on a battery charge, so enough for extra-long rides. On the highest setting, this would be 2 hours. For longer rides, this might not be sufficient (but ask yourself if you need this mode continuously). The dimensions of the lamp are pleasantly (a handful) compact. Not such a long heavy "tube" as with some other lamps in this class. The beam is noticeable, but gets used to it very quickly and is even pleasant afterwards. Often with headlights, you see a bright white beam (a wick in the middle) with some stray light around it. This lamp spreads its light much more regularly and in that respect resembles the light pattern of a car headlight much more. It also illuminates the verge well, keeping the edge of the road clearly visible at all times (which is safer). If a downside has to be mentioned then it might be the weight. At 174 grams, it is not the lightest lamp, but in its class (light output, battery life) it is one of the lighter ones. When it comes to operating the button, it is a missed opportunity by Lezyne that the button is not in the middle above the mounting point, but slightly forward. By pressing the button, there is a chance that the lamp will tilt slightly forward. Another tip when comparing lights from Lezyne: the race mode switches between Overdrive and Enduro on some models, and between Overdrive and Economy on others. I don't know what Lezyne's design consideration is in this (maybe battery life on low mode?). This model switches between Overdrive and Enduro in race mode. On the low setting, this is 300 lumens vs 150 lumens. Finally, for commuter cyclists: you can easily charge the lamp with a USB cord using a free USB port on a computer. This way, you will have a full battery again at the end of the working day.

Perfect illumination

- Ingo, 10 December, 2023

The lamp is very high quality, aluminium housing. The button is waterproof and easy to reach, the holder even works with flat aerobars, and the rotating mechanism allows the lamp to be perfectly aligned. And also super save during the day with flash mode !!!

Super lamp at a favourable price

- Alex, 9 December, 2023

Super light, use it on the handlebars in combination with a 500 lumen helmet light. The rubber fixation on the handlebars holds very well and the angle is easy to adjust. Running time at the highest level just under 2 hours. It is best to activate the race mode, as this skips the unnecessary flashing levels and only switches between the brightest and a medium level.

Super battery light with long runtime and acceptable weight.

- Sandro, 8 December, 2023

A great lamp with lots of power and many modes. Quick and flexible attachment. Only the rubber could be a little longer. Strong luminosity.
