Good solid tire to ride all seasons of the year.

Durable winter training tire
Pros & Cons

Great wide tyre
So far great tyre. Good to have a wide option for rougher local roads. Adds a bit more comfort to the road bike but without sacrificing grip or puncture resistance. Only ridden in the truly wet or ice so far and not been let down.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Quality tyre
One of the best winter options available
5 / 5
Quality tyres!
Great tyres for all year use, with great puncture resistance - would highly recommend!

Versatility: safety and performance
Very versatile tires with good grip, puncture resistance and more than decent performance.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Wonderfully comfortable rides!
I had been riding on 23mm tires without too much tread for some time, after a few skids on the wet asphalt I went for some wider and more expensive tires. For me it is a big difference in comfort and sense of safety now that the grip is significantly better. Top tires!
Pros & Cons

The grip needed for winter
I notice a big difference from my regular tires. With these tires, I feel more confident to ride in bad weather. I feel more grip, comfort and do not slide out, which could happen with my other tires.

Reliable Winter Training Tyre
After multiple punctures on new "3 season" tyres, I decided to go back to the old faithful 4 seasons - so far, so good :-) My expectations are that they will prove as reliable as they were in the past. Best price I could find was at Mantel - happy to continue to do business with them !
Pros & Cons

Top band
I have mounted the Conti Grand Prix 4 season on my commuter bike. I ride to work in all weathers! (about 5000 km per year) I changed the rear tire after more than 6500 km, no punctures whatsoever. The front tire now has 1100 km on it and the tread is still good. This tire has good rolling resistance and corners well, even in wet weather! So this tire is (indeed) suitable for all seasons. On my winter racing bike I also mounted the Conti Grand Prix 4 season. In short: a real top tire
Pros & Cons

Best there is for speed + puncture resistance
Pros & Cons

As described on the website and quick delivery
Look excellent. Good tread which should hopefully keep me upright in the wet conditions.
4 / 5
Very solid, good band
28mm. Fitted as a winter tire, went without tools on Mavic Cosmic Carbon pro. Tire definitely rolls fine, plenty of grip on wet/dirty pavement but the GP5000 I use in summer (in dry weather) is still a noticeably different/ finer tire. I think you should buy this tire if puncture resistance and durability are at the top of your list.

Fab all year round easy fit tyre
I looked at several different makes of tyre, but these seemed to be by far the best all round tyre for every season. They are also puncture resistant, offering more piece of mind and very easy to fit and great value. The black edition look great on my Ribble. I'm really pleased with this product. I would definitely recommend these tyres.

Who needs a gravel Bike? These are fantastic on a road bike for rougher terrain.
Durable . Robust . Safe. Love em!

Pleased
I have been using this tire for at least 2 years, so very pleased with the product.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top tires with great grip even in wet weather!
The tires offer good roadholding especially when cornering. Only on sandy trails is it be careful when the grooves get full of sand (then the grip reduces until the tires have discharged the bulk of the sand themselves while riding). Furthermore, these tires (28mm) offer more riding comfort compared to my previous tires (23mm) of a different brand. To determine the puncture resistance, I have not done enough km yet but they feel very solid while replacing them (this was quite easy).

Cracking all rounder / wet weather tyre
Pros & Cons

A true 4 season tyre
I've used these for a number of years now, my go to tyre. Commuting, training rides, wet, dry. Performs at 35 Deg C and also at -4C. Good grip in the wet, no issues to date, and good rolling in the dry. Easy to pup on and off if it's ever punctured. Managed 9 months on a tyre before started getting more regular punctures from sharp stones on back lanes, once worn too much. But that's just time to change.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good safe tyres for winter.
These seem to be excellent tyres, I've not yet done many miles on them though. Being foldable they are quite easy to fit, less of a struggle to get over the rim than wire bead tyres. Quickly delivered and well packaged by Mantel.

All-round band ... N topper
In every road surface and weather condition, you feel you have grip.
5 / 5
Excellent quality all season tyre
Bought these tyres to cope with the slippery UK winter roads. Normally run on Gatorskins but not enough grip for winter use. GP 4 Seasons feel reassuringly grippy with good confident handling on wet and muddy roads with very little compromise on rolling resistance. Haven’t had a puncture yet, either.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Lots of grip!
Noticeably great grip. Gives great confidence on wet road surfaces. Went from 23c to 25c and fit just fine. Had to put the rims back on before the tires could be inflated though. Tires are also slightly wider than 25c. Very happy with them and very satisfied.
Pros & Cons

My favourite road tyres
I use these all year round in UK conditions and rarely suffer punctures. They are long lasting, superbly grippy and excellent value. Super service from Mantel as well, fast delivery and fun packaging. Happy camper.

Great tyre
These really are excellent tyres. They’ve give you so much confidence in the winter conditions and seem to be some of the best reviewed regarding puncture protection

not yet matched
excellent tire for winter riding
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Solid winter tyre
My Ultrasport IIIs that came with my bike developed a gash so I replaced them with these in 25mm form. Feels as good or slightly better than the Ultras in dry conditions and massively better on damp roads. 600km in and no punctures (fingers crossed), and these were also easier to fit than the Ultras. Delivered way sooner than advertised.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Excellent tyres for winter riding on UK lanes.
Confidence inspiring in these poor road conditions without compromising the ride. Excellent tyres.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Great performance winter tyre
I’ve had sever sets of these tyres. Great for winter road use. Light and quick but most importantly they don’t really slip on corners and drain covers. I’ve never had a puncture despite hitting some alarming size bits of metal and other road debris. If you don’t mind the expense then personally I think they very good.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Tyre facilitates confident riding due to its good grip and puncture resistance
a good tyre choice for year round riding

an absolutely excellent tire, runs for over 7500km without any puncture, very good grip v.a. in the wet, rolls well and sufficiently light, very good price-performance ratio
Pros & Cons

Good winter tyre, comfortable but expensive.
Bought for winter use and the puncture protection offered as had GP4000 on prior to these. Nice ride and dont feel any slower and hopefully no more punctures in the cold and dark.

Pros & Cons

Great confidence on wet roads and puncture resistance
I found these to be very grippy on wet roads especially when cornering, tyre pressures are individual but you need to find your sweet spot to get the best out of them

Quick delivery. Product as described. Would recommend Mantel.

Tire that provides perfect grip in all weather conditions
5 / 5
Best value top quality products
These tyres are the perfect solution to your winter rides. Great puncture protection, long wear tread . All round best value tyres.
3 / 5
Leakproof but not durable
The last two 4 season tires both needed replacement within 1800km, in both cases were missing pieces of rubber leaving the underlying casing visible. It looks like the rubber is not stuck firmly enough to the casing. In the picture you can see that a piece of rubber is missing while there is hardly any wear around that point. The photo is of a tire that has only been driven 1650 km, I put it on in mid-September. So for a tire costing over 40 euros, I find the durability disappointing. Puncture resistance on the other hand is very good.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Reliable partner in just about any circumstance
4 / 5
Very good tyre
Just thought the tread may have been deeper for winter, but generally very pleased
5 / 5
Stable and durable
Suitable for cycling other than smooth asphalt.
5 / 5
Very good grip in wet weather
Very satisfied with the 28 mm I've been riding with for years in winter, so now chose the 32 for once. Only plus points
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
virtually puncture-proof
Solid tire for poor weather conditions and on dirty, greasy roads.

Great wet weather grip
Bike now feels stable on bends and wet roads, also smoother on rougher tarmac surfaces. I would definitely buy these tyres again.
Pros & Cons

Excellent quality tyre
Excellent quality tyre and relatively easy to fit too which is perfect in case of a puncture out in the cold Winter weather
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Perfect racing tire for winter riding.
Very solid and affordable outer tire for late summer and winter. The sturdy casing reduces the chance of punctures during winter rides. Also easy to mount on the rim.
4 / 5
Grippy, robust but harsh
Got these to replace my GP4/5000s as I was riding different roads during these work-from-home times and was getting few side wall punctures as we move into winter. Haven't had them too long but they are still grippy, they are definitely more robust but the price you pay is that they ride a lot harsher - you really feel the road surface it is anything other than billiard-table smooth. Obviously a bit more rolling resistance too. For me, this is a good trade off for the winter but will definitely swap back to the other tyres when we get back to summer!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Winter tyres
Great tyres for the winter bike Grip and feel of these in damp cold road conditions fill you with confidence going through bends and lanes Fully recommend
Pros & Cons

Reliable Winter Tyre
Last Set of tyres lasted two winters, Never had a Puncture
5 / 5
Good winter tyre
I needed new tyres for my winter bike and didn't want to be having to change inner tubes at the side of the road. With this in mind l researched the best rated all weather tyres on the market. These seem to get consistently good reviews and are from a trusted brand. So far l find these grippy and roll well for winter tyres also not too heavy so bike still feels quick. No problems fitting these & no punctures so far, let's see how long they last.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top tires, lie like a "block" on the road
Quick service from Mantel!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Great choice
This is my second time buying these tyres for my commuter bike - the tyres offer an excellent level of grip and puncture protection, even on poorly maintained roads.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Fine tire with dirty weather
This weekend I rode outside with these 4 season tires and I liked them a lot. They gave me more security in the corners and on dirty roads. Until now very satisfied
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Top fall band.
The conti 4 season has good grip. Especially with the many rotting leaves it gives a safer feeling. The tire sits firmly around the rim.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Best tyre I have ever used on the road...
light (ish), fast, very grippy in wet and sludge, no punctures... these things makes you realise why winter tyres don't have to be a compromise
4 / 5
Good fit on rims without use of tyre levers.
Never used these particular tyres before, but on first use they seem to be well made and roll better than Conti Gatorskins. They were easy to fit with thumbs only on the off-set rims of my winter bike. No observable lumps or wobbles when rotating wheels. The 28mm. stated width seems true to size. Not cheap, but hopefully that will be reflected in their performance.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Excellent purchase
As my first rides on different surfaces I found it good. Nice soft tire, doesn't feel so smooth however I never looked for performance.
5 / 5
Best band ever
Been cycling for 30 years. Never had such comfortable tires.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Robust and consistent
Great tyre that is good for the colder months and shrugging off the stones, winter debris and pot holes. I use this tyre on the rear to give extra wear and use a Conti 4000/5000 on the front for a bit of extra grip.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Happy with this purchase in Corona time to bike through fall, winter and spring
Very good tires for the months with R in the month.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Surefooted grip
I've had the Continental Grand Prix 4 Season tyres on the bike for a couple of weeks now and I'm really impressed with the grip to the point that I can't remember feeling so confident in wet weather conditions. I also decided to go for the slightly wider 28mm and paired it with a wider rim wheel, which despite the small weight gain, seems to roll pretty damn good.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Good tire for winter
Rode it all winter last year. Never a puncture. A bit heavier and slightly higher rolling resistance than the regular Con ti though.
4 / 5
good tire
I've been out in the rain and this tire seems fine. I had 23s before and you can really feel the difference when you switch to 25s.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Good in wet weather,puncture resistant

What a fine "wet weather" tire!
Big fan of the Contintal tires. So is this tire that I usually mount at the start of autumn to get through the darker time of year on my Ridley racer. Comfortable and very grippy and therefore confident through corners at speed on the Posbank! Highly recommended! Easy mounting. Approximately 6 bar pressure and go with that tire!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Perfect tire for between seasons
The perfect tire for the shoulder season
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Best Winter Training Tyre
This is my go to winter training tyre for the tough Scottish lanes. Great grip in all weathers and not bad rolling resistance for a 28mm width. Puncture resistance is good too and i think i can count the number i've had on one hand on these in 5 winters. Great price and quick delivery too from Mantel to the UK.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Good winter tyre
Good grip and puncture resistance but still an acceptable rolling resistance
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Excellent wet grip
Very good pneumatic
5 / 5
Pricey, but value for money
Good grip with the road surface. Definitely recommended. You pay a little for it, but then you have something!
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Superband
The perfect tire in all weather conditions
3 / 5
peeling fabric
very good tires , unfortunately I have to change them after one year because the fabric on the sidewalls is coming off .
Pros & Cons
1 / 5
may not fit on American wheel sets
Conti's do not fit around the rims of my scott plasma standard alu wheels, with some difficulty they do on the fur carriers of my trek 1400. The schwalbe's or pirelli's are slightly wider and fit with ease. seems to be more common with some american wheel sets.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
They have never let me down
I've ridden these tyres for years, sometimes in the most atrocious conditions. They have yet to puncture or even cut. They last for ages, and are comfortable too. Yet they manage to be pretty fast as well. What's not to like?
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Top quality road tyre!
I've only been riding with these for 2 weeks now so can't give a long term assessment, but so far so good! They were pretty easy to put on too. Not too tight.
5 / 5
Best all round all year tyres I have tried.
Great tyres for all weather, except ice. However, in the wet they stick to the road amazingly well. I have used this brand for years and I have yet to find a better tyre.
Pros & Cons

The only winter tyres you'll need
Title says it all: great winter training tyre. Amazing prize from mantel.
Pros & Cons

Last 2 times as long!
They are my favorite tires because you almost never bike them flat (because they do last about 5,000 km.
Pros & Cons

Good winter tire

4 / 5

Great Tyre
Fabulous all year round tyre. Good puncture resistance and lots of grip.
Pros & Cons

Perfect
Of course I am enjoying my purchase of Continental Grand Prix 4 Season- how could I not! They are the best tyre ever. They stand up to filthy, gritty, bumpy, muddy country lanes throughout the winter. Great puncture resistance, but brilliant rolling. Faultless in my experience. And Mantel was one of the few companies to have them in stock - at a reasonable price.
Pros & Cons

Second pair after more than 3000 km. An extremely versatile tire with TOP value for money!
Second pair after more than 3000 km. An extremely versatile tire with exceptional value for money from Mantel. Smooth feel and good grip on asphalt. Holds its own on rolling roads. Very good longevity. A must-have for both weekend sports enthusiasts and discerning amateurs.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Excellent band
32 mm tire for the winter season with a disc race bike. Tire falls slightly wider on the wider race rims measures 33.4mm. So if you have 38mm clearance you can mount it on a discracer. Went very smooth on the rim.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Excellent outer tire
Excellent tire. Gives great confidence in the wet. Only thing I would like is a wider one: 37 or even 42mm.
